The successful candidate will contribute to developing advanced numerical models to analyze coastal ocean flows and fluid-structure interactions. The research will involve creating innovative modeling approaches and enhancing existing algorithms to address critical challenges in marine engineering and environmental fluid dynamics.
Responsibilities
Develop numerical models for coastal ocean flow simulations.
Conduct advanced research on fluid-structure interactions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team to publish findings in high-impact journals.
Present research outcomes at national and international conferences.
Eligibility Requirements
Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, ocean engineering, applied mathematics, or related fields.
Strong foundation in mathematics and physics.
Experience with computer programming in languages such as Fortran, C++, or Python.
Familiarity with flow modeling and algorithm development is preferred.
A background in both mathematics and engineering is particularly welcome.
